Tayside Young Arts is an exciting group for young people between 8 and 16 years old.

We organise around 3 - 4 events each year normally during the school holidays. It is our task to demystify the world of art, help each child develop a lifelong interest in art, an awareness of art heritage and conservation and, most importantly, ensure that each child has a lot of fun.

Children don’t need to be skilled artists. Through workshops we help them develop technical skills - from the traditional, such as sketching, to the quirky, such as puppetry, pottery, origami, stone carving or outdoor environmental art.

Our visits to galleries, museums, theatres, studios, forests, fields and beaches reflect our very broad approach to what constitutes art.
