THE ARTS SOCIETY TAYSIDE

Young Arts started in 1973, it provides exciting opportunities for children and young people to expand their horizons through their involvement in creative arts activities. We aim to inspire young people with a lasting enthusiasm for the arts and an awareness of our arts heritage and its conservation. Our activities may include hands on workshops with expert tuition, themed craft days and visits to artist's studios, galleries, museums and historic houses.

In 2015 Laura Landale and Cleodie Schneide created a huge Horse Sculpture from damp sand and won the 14 years + section of the National Chairman's Competition for Young Arts and in 2016 Eva Morgan was joint winner of the 11-13 year old category with her collage on the theme of Edibles.

If you know of anyone between the ages of 6 - 15 who would be interested in joining please contact Louise Morgan, Group Leader of the Young Arts Perth branch on louise.morgan101@btinternet.com
