Tayside Design NOW - V&A Dundee and Perth Theatre Wednesday 08 November 2017

A very special opportunity to preview the refurbished Perth Theatre and its stunning new extension, in the company of

Philip Long, Director of V&A Dundee

and

Richard Murphy, OBE of Richard Murphy Architects, designers of the Perth Theatre project

Philip and Richard will each give a talk on the design considerations and purpose of their buildings in Perth and Dundee respectively. They will also discuss the impact of their buildings and the forging of a wider Tayside cultural landscape and identity.

6.15pm    Open viewing of Perth Theatre’s public spaces

7.00pm    Welcome and Introduction 

7.15pm    Perth Theatre - Richard Murphy OBE

8.00pm    V&A Dundee - Philip Long

8.45pm    Interval with a glass of fizz. Meet the speakers and other guests from                        Perth Theatre, V&A Dundee and The Arts Society Tayside

9.15pm     Discussion and Q&A with Magnus Linklater CBE in the Chair
